This is a list of Members who have indicated to the Secretary that they are awaiting availability of a hangar site license. All hangar sites at Serpentine already have hangars on them so purchasing a hangar involves seeking a Site License from the Club and purchasing the hangar from its previous owner.
Eligible Members are Members who are financial Full Members in good standing for at least 1 year before their application and have an aircraft or aircraft project on the Club’s Approved List, and do not already have an allocated site. Only one site shall be allocated per Full Member.
Realistically all hangars sold in recent years have been private transactions. Occasionally a hangar will be advertised for sale on the Grapevine email list but the subsequent sale is only notified to the Club to ratify the new owner’s permission to occupy the site. Some names have recently been removed as the members have passed away while waiting.
