VH-DJR is the club’s Piper Warrior PA-28-161.
It is available for hire only to Associate and Full members. To obtain access for booking DJR you need to seek approval to use the aircraft by sending your current AFR and medical certificate to our DJR coordinator (see below). The aircraft booking screen is only visible to approved hirers.
DJR can be used for private hire and AFRs. The aircraft is not insured for ab-initio training.

New Hourly Rates plus a variable Fuel Levy apply to all flight hours from 1 April 2026.
Fuel Levy– from 1 Apr 26
- Applies to all flights includes any pre-purchased hours remaining.
- Based on the billed hours as per the VDO and log sheets.
- Reference Base Rate: $3.00 per litre at YSEN
- Adjustment with AVGAS price: Levy of $4.00 for each 10cents or part thereof above the Reference Base Rate.
As an example if AVGAS price is between $3.71 to $3.80 per litre then the Fuel Levy is $32.00 per hour as per the VDO.
If you have plans to fly out of region then please discuss the Fuel Levy with Jamie in advance.
