Serpentine Airfield (ICAO Code YSEN) is located about 20 nm south of Jandakot and easily accessible by road from the Perth metro area. It lies in Class G airspace up to 6000ft, more than adequate for normal GA activities.
The airfield was developed in the 1980s as a non-profit club facility on land leased from the local government. The club facilities also host firefighting helicopters in the summer months and a state government weather radar facility.
