Hello again everyone,

As I said last week, whatever the sport: flying, scuba diving, car racing, whatever, the more you expose yourself to serious risks, the shorter the odds become of getting hurt or killed.

I'll try to remember that myself, next time I line up on the runway to do something risky, especially if I find myself thinking, "It's fine, I've done this dozens of times before and not got hurt". Because, if I've got away with it dozens of times, the likelihood of coming to grief increases every time.

Maybe this time I should just take a less risky course of action: fly higher, faster or slower, think ahead more, or maybe just not fly today.

Think about it yourselves.

Let's not take unnecessary risks.

Yours,

Bob Grimstead
