Underground Power Project

After finding the existing overhead power lines were "in the way" at Serpentine - a committee decision saw a major project of providing underground power start in November 2004.

All new hangars and buildings will be connected to the new underground power system after completion.

Pretty amazing huh! (39kb) Yup (37kb) So where does it go from here? (37kb)
Whatever length of pipe we need... (29kb) And the other fittings too (37kb) But we won't be very popular for digging up a beautifully grassed area (34kb)
Never mind - we've got our big toys to help! (37kb) What a good job it is being supervisor (44kb) Looks great (52kb)
And the trees can grow happily without being entangled in overhead power lines (60kb) Many hands make light work (41kb) Now isn't that pipe running the wrong way?? (57kb)
And so the project continues... (54kb) Underground power trench work SABC Trench Digger
