The weekend programme will include:

  • Competitions (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Aircraft displays (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Hanger flying !!
  • Evening get togethers
  • Model aircraft demonstrations
  • Visit to Serpentine tractor museum (Saturday afternoon)
  • Chinese food extravaganza (Saturday evening starting at 6.30pm, $15.00 each)
  • Bush dance and Asian style fancy dress (Saturday night at 8.00pm in the club hanger.
Adults: $8.00, Children under 12 are free)
  • Spit roast on Sunday evening at 6.30pm (pork, lamb and beef with salads and sweets:
    $10.00 per head)

The usual refreshments and meals will be available each day. Please order your meals before September 25, and pay for the Chinese food extravaganza, Bush Dance and Spit Roast by 22 September. Depending upon numbers we intend supplying breakfasts, lunches, evening meals as well as morning and afternoon teas.

Rob Felton and Paul Clutterbuck are joint co-ordinators for this event. However, it will not work without the support of members so please come along (with your family and friends) and enjoy a weekend of low key flying activities/social events.

At going to press we have "rubberhosed?" the following members to assist during the weekend (seriously, thanks people, in advance, for your help to co-ordinate the following activities):

If you have any ideas for the weekend (evening entertainment etc), or if you are keen to volunteer for anything, or would like to assist the above members please contact them (or Paul on 9498 0969 or Rob on 9497 3583). We are especially seeking donations of prizes for he competitions and bush dance.
