Flying Weekend
27, 28, & 29 September 2003

The proposed weekend programme should include:

  • Fly-in to Blair and Suzanne Howe's airstrip at Lake Preston for a spit roast lunch
  • Competitions (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Aircraft displays (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Hangar flying !!
  • Evening get togethers (including a "juke box" Saturday night)
  • Model aircraft demonstrations
  • Chinese food extravaganza (Saturday evening starting at 6.30pm Adults: $15.00, Children under 12 $7.50)
  • Spit roast on Sunday evening at 6.30pm (two meats with salads, sweets and tea/coffee: $15.00 per head)
  • Full breakfasts on Sunday and Monday mornings ($7.00)
