Busselton Airshow -
2nd March 2003

Those who have volunteered to be part of the Show -please make sure any paper work (eg. Pilot details) relating to the flying has been sent to either:

As soon as the program is finalized, copies will be sent to those concerned with inbound details etc.

At this point (24/1/03) - the following details will apply,

Arrivals
  • All aircraft should be on the ground by 9.15 am
  • Ground advisory will be available - Unicom 126.7
  • Area Frequency -124.9
  • Should you be requested to hold, orbit the Sports ovals 2.5nm N/W of Airfield
Airfield
  • Runway 03/21 - 1800m
  • Airfield Ht. 55ft
  • NDB 386
During the Show
  • Air Field will be closed during program aprox 0930 - 1500
  • If you need to depart , contact Check Point Charlie by R/T or personally
Accomodation
  • Camping either in tents near your Aircraft
  • Camping in a Hangar
Meals
  • Meals available from Saturday night through till Monday morning
  • Advise kitchen of your requirements
Fuel
  • Available
  • Payment - by cash or cheque
Parking
  • Marshals on ground
Security
  • By request
  • Aircraft night patrol by members and campers
Joy rides
  • Mustang rides at Show Special price of $850
  • Scenic Flight in 30 seat Brasilia - Coastal to Albany and direct return $140
  • Helicopter rides & Air Boards to try your skill
