Vans RV-7

Since the last update I now have the hangar to myself and managed to do quite a bit over a period of four months. The worst job was the fuel tank which I may redo. I have all but completed one wing and have done quite a bit of the second one.

I have also bought half of Grimmo's Fly Baby which my wife thought would be a good idea for when I got despondent at seeing how much there was still to do on the RV7. That of course means that I would rather go flying than "pro-sealing" which slows the riveting down!

I thought "Blow it!" I am going to start regardless of the two other people in the hangar. I started the wings on Saturday and hope to get a few days in during the next week or so.

I have finally moved down to Serpentine to build my RV7.

I have completed the empenage and look forward to starting to build the wings. Unfortunately they keep wanting to make me go to work which severely restricts the time I can spend building!

ps. I was hoping to get a bit done of late but my hangar keeps getting full of Jabirus with no home and broken Tiger Moths but....................... come next month!!!! Rick
