Sport Aircraft Builders Club (SABC)

I am currently building a Spitfire Mk1 70% scale wood and composite construction. Here is my progress report.

• Plywood box fuselage complete less bulkhead and firewall.
• Fin Rudder, Tail and elevator. completed in primer.
• Experimental retracting undercarriage working [compressed Air].
• Tail wheel assy completed.
• Centre section front and rear spars completed.
• Wheels manufactured with brake assemblies being machined.
• Wing leading edges and trailing edges laminated ready for spar laminates.
