Vans RV7

 

Gavin Strack has begun construction of a Vans RV7.

G'day,

I have ordered the Empennage Kit for a Vans RV-7 this week.  It should be here in 5-7 business days.  I'm just waiting on shipping costs before I order the rest of the kit, but I am expecting this will be next week.  As the rest has an 8 week lead time and is coming by sea, I am expecting the remainder of the kit to arrive around August.

RV builder's tool kit from Cleavelands is also being shipped today so I'm expecting this to arrive around the same time as the Empennage Kit.  New air compressor arrives early next week.

I have started a builder's blog as well.  The URL is:  http://redrv7.wordpress.com/   Photos on the blog are all about acquiring tools and getting my work area ready so not much building to report yet.
